Arrival and accessibility

Located in the pink manor house, Lahti Historical Museum is near the city centre of Lahti with great transport connections. The museum is also near Lake Vesijärvi and within great walking distances from Lahti Marketplace and the Lahti Harbour.

Lahti Historical Museum’s main entrance is across the fountain in Kartanonpuisto.

Arriving to the museum

  • Lahti Historical Museum is located in right next to Lahti city centre and is easily accessible by foot.

  • You can easily arrive to the museum by bicycle. Guests can leave their bikes on the bike racks outside the museum for the duration of their visit.

  • Lahti Historical Museum has great public transportation connections due to its central location. When arriving by bus, guests are recommended to get off the bus at the stops surrounding the Lahti Market Square, which is about two blocks away from the Historical Museum.

  • You can also arrive to the museum by car. While the museum doesn’t have its own parking lot, there are several spots for you to park your car from street parking to P-Kartano car park right next to the museum.

Accessibility

The Historical Museum has an accessible entry to the building from the main entrance. The museum also has a lift by which you can access all four floors of the museum. The accessible bathroom can be found on the ground floor. Personal assistants can enter the museum free of charge. The museum is able to lend wheelchairs and walkers to our guests.
